For Harbour Light Trailer Court and Campground: All around, this is a great place to stay a few days or longer. The staff is super helpful. The setting is absolutely stunning - right on the entrance to the Pictou Harbor. There is a great walking beach accessible directly from the campground. There are lots of seasonal spaces, but still plenty of transient spaces for us travellers. It is a 20 minute drive to New Glasgow for Canadian Tire, Sobeys, laundromat, etc., but it is worth it to stay in such a nice place. The WiFi was the best we have found in the 18 months we have been on the road.

For Harbour Light Trailer Court and Campground: Cameron, his staff, and residents are friendly and helpful. We were there on Labor day weekend and they provided a free hotdog and corn-on-the-cob lunch. Laundry facilities were OK. We were given a spacious back-in site, but it could be more level. Internet coverage was excellent but slow, which meant we could not do more than simply do Email with a smartphone but not with the computer. Phone coverage was OK most of the time. We stayed in a travel trailer and would definitely stay there again.

For Harbour Light Trailer Court and Campground: I have visited this campground over an over again for years. It is located at the narrowest part of the harbour so the ships sail through about 1/2 mile from you. There is a long, almost isolated, sandy beach but you have to be agile to walk down to it. There are strong currents for swimming as it is very close to the shipping lane. It has a pool for those with less physical ability. There is propane on site and you are close to a small town for restaurants, etc. There are very, very few campgrounds in this area so call ahead. It is located very near the ferry to PEI and the causeway to larger towns and the Trans Canada Highway. On the attached map it is actually located at Braeshore, not Caribou. Cameron and his staff are very helpful. It is a favourite of ours every time we go to Nova Scotia.
