For Copake Camping Resort: No longer a KOA under new owners. This is probably a five star campground if coming for a vacation in the area. However, we came with a group as an overnight stop from I-90 and it’s a long hilly, windy road to get to get here. Someone else in our group made the reservation and we stick with our group. It’s very overpriced ($74) for one night, full hookup, in a field with no shade. Not many people are here but if full it’s very tight to get into and out of the sites. The camp staff were very helpful and friendly. Looks like they have lots of activities if staying over a weekend.
