For Lake George Battleground Adirondack Preserve: We were here on June 3. Really nice location and modern public restrooms/showers. Mostly cramped sites, kind of a challenge to get around on this day even with a small 5th wheel because the place was packed. Some kind of biker event going on. Nice folks though.

For Lake George Battleground Adirondack Preserve: This is a small campground within walking distance feom downtown where all of the touristy stuff can be found. Parking in downtown is a premium, so being in this campground is a bonus just for the parking . Beware, however, that the sites are tiny and nest suited for tents and small RV’s. The campground is located in a densely treed area and will be cool in the summer and full of mosquitoes.. If possible, get a site away from the western side due to road noise.

For Lake George Battleground Adirondack Preserve: In town but convenient. Walking distance to town or the beach. Modern showers and facilities. Well shaded with big trees. Avoid sites next to road. Traffic is noisy on that side. Awkward access to dump station an water. Stayed two nights and hope to get two more today. I would return due to ease of accessing beach, docks, shops and town.
