For Camp Chautauqua Camping Resort: Great campground! We spent a week there Aug 2018. Cool weather made it a nice trip. Booked several months out and were able to get a premium concrete site close to the water. Some non-premium sites offer more privacy. Nice pool, reasonable camp store and boat dock. Staff was very friendly. Daily trash pickup at each site was a perk! Nice fire rings at at each site.

For Camp Chautauqua Camping Resort: Located on Lake Chautauqua with pool and boat dock. Close to the Chautauqua Institute. There are lots of seasonal campers but there are pull thru sites and hook ups. The sites are gravel and many are not level. The bathrooms are just fair and need to have a deep cleaning! The price is high for amenities.

For Camp Chautauqua Camping Resort: We stayed at Camp Chautauqua in late March 2016. Since it was off season and they were still getting freezing temperatures they had not turned on the water. They did however allow us to fill our holding tanks from a faucet in the nearby bath-house as needed. The campground is on the lake shore. There are apparently docks which were not in the water during our stay (they have to be pulled out of the water as the lake freezes). The pool was not open but it appeared well kept and clean. The grounds were well maintained. The bath-house facilities were fairly well maintained although they were not exceptional. The laundry facilities appeared to be well maintained but the filters and insides of the machines had not been cleaned. We went with friends who also had their coach, I believe that we were the only ones in the campground other than the staff.
We were in two class A's, one 40 ft. and the other 45 ft. and had no trouble navigating the campgrounds.
My only complaint is that the campground seemed to be filled with mostly permanent structures which occupied the prime sites.
One word of caution! My GPS (Garmin) wanted me to turn right, after coming off of I-86, on Wells Bay Road. The campground is actually another 1.5 miles further north-west on W. Lake Rd. It is well marked with a large sign. I was warned about this when I made the reservation so it was not a total surprise.
