For Mohican State Park: We stayed here 2 nights for news years Eve at an electric site right by the River. Only a few other campers here so felt like we had the park to ourselves. They had one Restroom and shower building open in winter and it was very clean and warm. They have great trails right from the campground. This is one of our favorite state park campgrounds in Ohio.

Little Chip
For Mohican State Park: Great place for families! Level big grassy sites with lots of room and a pool! Nice electric site, have to get water at dump station but ez access. Not all sites have trees so can get hot. Some road noise but no trains like most of the campgrounds we stay at. One bar Verizon, but strong wi fi which is nice. Reservations a must.

For Mohican State Park: This was our first stop on the
maiden voyage of our new motor home and we got spoiled at Mohican State Park. Perfect paved spot (#36) (no leveling needed), wide spaces with beautiful lawns and friendly people. We will definitely be returning here. So many amenities for the whole family AND a river runs through it. You can tell there attention to detail here. Thanks for great start Mohican!

Jaycorollin
For Mohican State Park: This is an extremely popular state park campground and it’s fairly difficult to get in to but we did happen to grab some walk-in only sites for the weekend so we were happy about that. Sites are good size but not quite as “private†as most Ohio state park sites. There is a camp store with ice and amenities centrally located. The pool is nice. The bathrooms were less than par as far as cleanliness goes. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. An FYI, if you’re planning on floating the river in the summer on a Saturday, a PG-13 rating should be applicable. Be forewarned. ;)
