For Hocking Hills Jellystone: Very enjoyable stay in our 40’ Super C on site 71. This campground felt more like a State Park with lots of shade and not too cramped. Well manicured and attentive staff. Gravel parking and not perfectly level, but hey, that’s what the jacks are for. 30 minute drive to Hocking Hills. No kids with us on this trip but they would have loved it.

For Hocking Hills Jellystone: This location is now a yogi bear campground. We stayed here so we could visit Hocking Hills State Park. I’m not sure what the camp site looked like before it turned to yogi bears but you can see that some money from the brand has been put into it. However, LOTS of work is still needed.. uneven sites make it difficult to level your rig. Cement patios are all cracked and broken creating trip hazards. Sewer lines are exposed and too high out of the ground making it nearly impossible to dump correctly. Wrong type of fitting used at the end of the sewer line so that you can’t secure your hose correctly. Laundry room floor was filthy. Dryers didn’t work well. Very nice staff working there but they appear to be short handed. If you want to visit hocking hills state park, there are closer locations to camp than this. If your thinking about visiting this campsite, I would pass for now. Give them some time to make improvements.

For Hocking Hills Jellystone: Been there with the kids twice and we are going back this fall... we tow a 36 ft 5th wheel and the camp ground is more than accommodating.. the owner has devoted his life 24/7 to the campers who are there through activities..... you may have to level your camper and put up with some potholes but ITS CAMPING for crying out loud!..... if you are a class A $250k diesel pusher without kids, keep on driving and go somewhere where your computerized “camper†can set itself up somewhere els.... but if you have a family that loves camping and it brings you all closer together, this place is great!

For Hocking Hills Jellystone: I would suggest campers to boycott this campground. Camped on summer non-holiday weekend but they charged us holiday rates. When I asked why, they said that every weekend is summer is a holiday! They also advertised AAA discount but would not accept ours because we didn't mention it when I made the reservation, even though I paid upon entering their campsite.

For Hocking Hills Jellystone: The reason for the one star is that the roads in the campground are horrible --- and that is an understatement. The "hills" in the campground's name is well deserved, and that's even more reason for the staff/owner to maintain the roads. In addition, the individual sites could/should be better graded (i.e., made level). We have a Class A and it took us literally four times to level our RV. Considering that the rates are not cheap, the campground's condition warrants the one-star rating. Needless to say, we won't be back!
