For Sandy Springs Campground: Beautiful campground on scenic highway 52 between Ohio & Kentucky. Nice and quiet with River views on the Ohio, also has a boat launch. Didn’t have any air channels but a couple of bars on Verizon to hook up the hotspot. Owners are super friendly! Would definitely stay again.

For Sandy Springs Campground: A little piece of heaven. Private campground. Owners are present and cannot do enough for you. Truly a family place! Right on the Ohio River. Immaculate spaces. Camp store has ice, firewood, snacks and some gift items. Sad we’re leaving as Julie and Darcy have become friends. We can’t wait to come back to this beautiful gem. We will truly miss y’all. #peaceful #relaxed

For Sandy Springs Campground: I camped at Sandy Springs one night with a one-person tent for $5.00. It was an incredible deal. Most sites provide a good view of the Ohio River. And if you are looking for hospitality, this is the place for you. The young owner's industriousness is only exceeded by his friendliness and desire to please. I arrived just before dusk and when he learned that I was going to eat PB&J for dinner, he brought me hot vegetable soup his wife had made that evening.
I was also impressed with the shower and restroom facilities that are in a building with eight private rooms, each with its own entry door from the outside. Each room contains a sink with an electrical socket conveniently located for using a shaver or hairdryer, a large mirror, toilet, hot shower, clothes rack and dressing bench. The room decor is Spartan, but the facilities are accommodating and user-friendly.
If I have the chance, I will stay there again.
