For Pleasant View Recreation: This place is TOO expensive for what it is! Advertising leads you to believe is more than what is it BUT it will NOT give you the rates. The state park was full so we had to stay here. They charged us $79 a night and we had to stay 2 nights for what we came here to do. Our spot was decent but had to share the water hook up and don’t believe the posted quiet hours! Golf carts with horns were whizzing by until almost midnight and then the yelping dog by us! Oh and if you want to stay a week they will charge $495 PLUS electrical charge. It could be a beautiful place. There is a lot for the kids to play on though but the swimming pool is filled in with sand and the swimming area is a pond. Also she said if we didn’t turn in the gate card it would be a $50 charge on our card! Won’t be coming through their gate again! We were camping fifth wheel.

For Pleasant View Recreation: Expensive for an old rundown campground. Showers were old and dirty. First lot we were given we could not reach the electric as the have two lots on one box - which means my electrical hook up would have to go around or under my camper and over to the next lot. Same for water. It's about 80 feet away on the row of campers behind us. Each faucet has a y adaptor so yes, if the guy behind me takes a shower at the same time as me, the pressure is VERY low. Also as we only booked for one night we had to pull up to the gate, press the call button and hold our yellow camping tag up so the office staff could see it. Office lady very accommodating - not her fault. This place is a dump. Give it a miss.

For Pleasant View Recreation: Lets just say, I would not come back. The sites are not long enough for motorhomes. The markers they have indicating the sites (wooden) aren't tall enough (car height) to see and it's an accident waiting to happen. The water had sulfur in it (nasty). Each time I went to the office only one staff member and you had to wait. The slide (rubber) for kids at the pool/pond area extra charge and a parent had to sign a release. It wasn't anything extravagant. Just a rubber slide!!! And the trains, all night long.
Staff (the only person I saw) was friendly. Sites are not large enough. We are in a pull thru, our rig is only 36 ft and not enough space for parking our tow vehicle. Internet not good, I've tried to get on since bring here, it's only working early morning for a few minutes; and if you have AT&T cell coverage not good. Not a place I would recommend. The pool is a POND no chlorine.

For Pleasant View Recreation: Not big rig friendly. Sites are not 120 ft long unless you put the M row with the N row and even then, you cannot make the turn to exit with your toad hooked up. There's a structure and parked cars in your way. The picnic table at our site had a broken seat and would have been a safety hazard to use. Also were charged 5$ for arriving at 2:30. Would never stay here again.
