For KOA Journey Elk City: Friendly staff. Easy pull throughs. NO hot water in restrooms, showers or laundry.
Noisy vehicles in-out of long term units.
Not able to fill propane tanks, go to exit #20, Flying J.

For KOA Journey Elk City: Wonderful folks, called in as we were arriving late and they set me right up. This was a road journey stop over.

Bill

For KOA Journey Elk City: Nice place right on off the highway and close to Clinton lake. Clean, friendly staff and has great pizza. Lots of slots and shouldn't need to call ahead.

Rob

For KOA Journey Elk City: This is a great little campground. Lots of grass very well-maintained 30 and 50 amp. Nice playground for the kids and an awesome dog walk. They have a pool, and they also serve breakfast and a snack's, and a light dinner if you like pizza or wings. Nice little spot considering it's pretty much up in the middle of nowhere. If I had time I'd spend a couple of days here.

For KOA Journey Elk City: We arrived late for a one night stay but made it two because the washing machines and some local tourist museums were on our to-do list. The Route 66 museum is great. The bath and toilet facilities are a clean but from another era. In general its an older park that kept up as well as can be expected. But the washers and service were good. We had breakfast here and saved some time. Like most KOA's they are a bit on the pricey side but predictably clean if not modern. It was a good rest spot after a day fighting wind to get across Texas.
