For Turner Falls City Park: A very pleasant surprise and so glad we camped here. The camp sites are fairly basic and rustic with a concrete parking pad, 30/50 power and water hookups for our 33' RV. We found a site with a grill, fire ring and table. Quiet at night. ** Keep in mind no pets are allowed.
The park has an attractive clear water creek to play in with swimming hole and waterfall. Staff was nice and helpful and a camp store where we got firewood.
The reason for 4 stars is park could use some maintenance of tree limbs to make travel in RV easier, also bathroom in our camping area was out of order with portables available nearby.

For Turner Falls City Park: Arrived on a middle of July ,Sunday afternoon to a major crowd. Avoid the summer weekends unless you enjoy crowded everything...parking,swimming,camping,et With the crowds comes litter and trash everywhere, which is shame because this really is a beautiful natural setting. The natural swimming holes are very picturesque and the water seems nice and clean except for the litter in the water and shoreline. The campsites had leftover litter as well. I guess my point is this place is trashy. Please clean up after yourself people.
The rv hookups were fine. We had 30amp service and water at our site. Restrooms and showers okay, reasonably clean considering the crowds.
If you can put up with the crowds and/or trash, give this place a try. Not much activity other than swimming and hiking.
