For Anicinabe Park: We stayed at site 61. It had a great view of the lake. We visited at the end of September so it was quiet and not all the sites were filled. There is no charge for the showers. I would recommend this place.

For Anicinabe Park: This is a full service campground. We stop every time we go through the area. It’s clean, has dump station for sites without full service, provides laundry, picnic facilities, boat launch, and amazing fishing on lake of the woods. Really nice campground secluded, yet right in town. Close to Walmart and Canadian tire. Lots to see and do.

For Anicinabe Park: Great location close to town. Nice staff. Restrooms have been remodeled and are clean. Sites are large and many have a lake view. Plan ahead if you want to stay here because always booked solid.
Ride the MS Kenora boat for a super tour of Lake of The Woods.

For Anicinabe Park: This place is very overpriced for the quality. The bathrooms are gross- filthy, bare concrete, and without hot water (water gets just warm after running the shower for ages). The "lakeview" should be called partial lakeview as it's obstructed by trees and power lines. Wifi was slow, but it did extend throughout the park so that's what the 2 stars are for. Wouldn't return.

For Anicinabe Park: Second stay in August 2014 and I was disappointed. Far too many unsupervised children, it was very noisy and the operators didn't enforce their own "1 vehicle per site" rule. Much of the noise was from visitors to people's campsites who were not registered guests. Many other campers didn't respect other's privacy and constantly cut through people's campsites. A few people we talked to had planned to stay a few days but decided one night was enough. I won't stay here in the summer months again. Maybe in September when all the kids are gone and the staff can keep up with cleaning as there was used toilet paper around our site (Gross!) and the shower/bathrooms were far from clean.
