For Fort Stevens State Park: Lovely park, with many loops providing full hookups. We came in early June 2019, and no one asked us not to use the on site sewer connection, so we did with no issues. Hosts were great and out and about. Did not use bathrooms or showers, but the on site hiking and beaches are great. There are some large mosquitos that hang out in the shade. Campsites are semi private, and wooded. Some more sunny than others. But full 50 amp hookups made this stay super easy. Lots to do in the area as well with the Lewis and Clark NHP and other state parks in the area. Astoria has some great museums and restaurants. We like this area in general for visiting, prefer fall when it is a bit drier and no bugs. I would give this park a 5 star rating, but it is expensive for a state park, with all of the services I am sure that is why the price is so high. Spotty for our Verizon hot spot, we had to move it around to find a signal. Once we got it, everything worked ok.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Nice bathrooms, nice place with a good site. In the woods and a cool shipwreck within a bit of a walk. Walking paths right there and easy to access. Nice that there are so many non-reservable loops so we showed late and still found a great site. Would stay again.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Big park, loops off the main park collector road, each loop had shaded sites at back and more open at front. Sites were about 30' apart. LtE Cell ATT Tmob closer to collector, 1-2 bar at best.

For Fort Stevens State Park: We stayed in this park in November 2018. The park is beautiful! The hosts and rangers are all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the M Loop which was well treed providing some privacy between the sites. All sites had a picnic table and a fire ring. Fire wood, kindling and starter were for sale at one of the Host's sites. We had a pull through site for our 30 foot 5th Wheel. There is access to the beach, a lake, and 9 miles of beautiful trails for hiking and biking all within the park. The historical site is well worth a visit, including a small museum and a video explaining the history of the fort. If there was decent cell reception the park would rate a 5 star review. There is no wifi either. You can however, pick up some local television channels on an aerial. There is a KOA campground at the entrance to the park where you can pick up emergency supplies at their store and use the laundromat also, otherwise everything is a drive into Hammond or Warrenton. Warrenton has a big mall which includes a Walmart, Home Depot, Pet Mart, etc.
The park staff keep the bathrooms clean and there is abundant hot water. The best feature were the elk and deer strolling through the park! Nearby is the Lewis and Clark National Park, which is a must see. We had a lovely dinner at the Bridgeview Bistro in Astoria and took a short drive down to Canon Beach. Heaven! The park has a sani-dump which they prefer you use rather than the site sewer connections, however we used the site sewer on the off-season and did not get any grief from the rangers. I would advise that you visit this park on the off-season because we have been told that there are a lot of mosquitos in the spring and summer. The park has a lot of standing water so this makes sense.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Very nice park. Spacious sites and clean facilities. We were in a 51 foot site and we had a 45 foot with tow so it was pretty tight to park our Jeep up front. The reason I did not rate it 5 stars was that the cell coverage was horrible with Verizon. Most of the time we couldn’t even check weather or send a text message and dump station was extremely tight due to the curbs and pile ons, but overall beautiful park.

Access to the ocean & lots of bike trails, fire rings, tables, water, electric, we did not have sewer at our site but there was a dump nearby. Wonderful Junior Ranger program and activities.
