For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: Very nice park that has several camping areas. The ones closest to the check-in area are full hookups and are pretty close together. There are grassy verges separating the sites. Sites are pretty level. Other sites are partial hookups or no hookups. Also there are spots for tents. Those are in the meadow areas and people there likely have the best opportunity to see elk. Several hiking/walking paths which are nicely kept by mowing. Lovely ponds but at this time of year, there are also mosquitoes. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Laundry is perfectly adequate. WiFi ok. Path to beach involves crossing Highway 101. Beach is nice. Managers are very accommodating and nice. Small store where you check in.

For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: A beautiful campground that is well maintained with helpful and sweet staff. Very clean showers, toilets, laundry and a small store. Trails in the park are shaded and have elk that come out in the evening! The park is just minutes from some of the most beautiful, rugged shoreline you will ever see! I highly recommend this wonderful park!

For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: Well not sure where to start! Came to Honey Bear after getting the kids and grandkids to COVID celebrate a crazy military move from
Japan back to the USA. Birthday balloons were at the campsite giving a little 8 year old her birthday wish to go camping and to see the ocean (hard to complete with the beaches in Japan) but wow did Oregon coast deliver. Hiked the campground, caught tadpoles, and salamander, explores the creek and most importantly had birthday s’mores! Walked the private trail to the beach and even though the water was cold they got in! Stag at the Honey Bear were amazing! From the check in to giving direction and suggestions totally wonderful service. We will be back!

For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: Good place. As good as the Oregon State Parks for green lush spaces. Add WiFi and cable and this place is ideal for a week, month, or multiple month stay.

For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: Just about as good as it gets. The restaurant is quite good with nice sized portions. Easy hike over to the beach. If you get the chance, stay here.

Happy Travelers
For Honey Bear By The Sea RV Resort and Campground: This is one of my new favorites! We stayed here for a week on our way up the coast and what a delightful time we had! First, the staff are SO warm and accommodating. We originally planned to just stay for a night or two, so when we decided to stay for a week, Tammy helped us find a site to move to where we could do that. The new site had only Electric & Water (no sewer) but that worked out fine. They have a dump station that you can use for $10. They escort you to your site and help you get parked and tell you how their hookups work. We also had great cable TV that really worked without a bunch of fuzzy stations! The WiFi is dependable and worked well. The grounds are immaculate and so nicely landscaped. There is a beach access trail to a beautiful beach across 101. We did not have any trouble crossing. Now, let me rave about the onsite Bears Bar & Grill that is open Fri-Sat-Sun evenings. We had such great service and the food is excellent. Baby back ribs to die for, loaded baked potato (which includes pulled pork on top with a delicious BBQ sauce), wings, and lots of specials each night. It’s always pleasantly full with campers and townies both. The owner, Glenn, comes around to meet & greet and spread his good cheer and welcome to everyone. You can buy firewood there (by the bundle or by the wheelbarrow, which you push to your campsite, unload and return) and we had a great campfire every night. It is well-lit without being overly light at night and we felt very safe. We will definitely stop in for a much longer stay next time we come! It’s also very convenient to make lots of day trips north and south to see all the amazing things in the area! Thanks for giving us such a great vacation!
