For Woods County Campground: This campground is small and just provides the bare minimum, especially considering the cost for a site. There was no camp host (this was in August). There are two flush toilets but no sink. The facilities were pretty clean when we arrived early on a Friday. Don't know how they will fare over the weekend or if anybody will look after them since there is not a campground host.
The campground is small and open and bordered on two sides by a secondary road that is well travelled. It has small sites and no privacy between sites. Tent sites 10, 11 and 12 are very small and adjacent to the road.
On the plus side, we did feel safe here.
Adding to review. The county people showed up both Saturday and Sunday to clean restrooms, empty trash and check on campground.
No campground host to monitor activities (e.g. Noise levels during quiet hours, availability of reserved sites not occupied, condition of restrooms, etc).
Would we stay again? Only if we wanted to walk down to the Grateful Bread for breakfast (terrific food) or if we had no other suitable option in the area for a short stay.
