For Trillium Lake Campground: What a lovely location! What lovely hosts at the campground! First, I lucked out on the first come first serve site in early summer. Then the park was as good as all the reviews raved! The Mt. The clean lake water. Then the hosts (thanks again Dan!) made sure I wasn't leaving sad; despite my poor preparation. Ahhh!

For Trillium Lake Campground: First time camping here. Site 3 was perfect for our van and tent trailer! Nearly flat parking surface. Lots of vegetation and space between sites so you feel pretty secluded. 2 mi hike around lake partially closed due to rotting wood. Still able to walk most of it. Trail loop is super easy, even for little ones. This campground is beautiful and peaceful. The water and sink/waste water areas can be tricky to find in the bushes, but they are there. Toilets are available and well maintained. Camp host was very kind and were clearly monitoring the campground. If coming on/after a holiday weekend, especially if it’s cold (we came on Memorial Day), beware of firewood shortages!

For Trillium Lake Campground: We stayed here one night at the end of June. Wish it was more. Camped right on the lake. Lots of space between sites. Very private. Hosts were friendly and policed the place. Lots of people trying to find spots to camp or park. We booked months and months in advance to get our site. Place has toilets. No electricity.

For Trillium Lake Campground: Wow! We camped here on July 17, a Monday, and pulled in early, before 11:00, with our 24 foot trailer. We wanted site 4, because we checked on Recreation. gov, and knew it would be empty, but the very sweet and vivacious host sent us to 12. She quickly came back, and said she had called the person who reserved 4, and she had cancelled, so we got it! Beautiful site on the lake, very private! If you have a kayak, you're in luck, because the views of Mt Hood, from the water, or the lakeshore, are spectacular! The two mile loop around the lake is gorgeous, and you get to listen to the songs of a thrush while picking blueberries! If you are lucky enough to camp here, don't miss Tamanawas Falls about 25 minutes north on 35! You can sit behind it, if you are daring! I can't wait to come back here!

For Trillium Lake Campground: We stayed one night at Trilium Lake Campground in late September 2015. We were moved by the quiet beauty of the lake and Fall color. There is a path about 2 miles long that circles the lake, that made for a delightful morning walk. The camp host was friendly and welcoming, happy to share tips and advise to us as newbies. We dry camped in our van and found the vault toilets very clean and campsites very private. The only sound we heard that night was the hooting of an owl. It is most likely very busy during the Summer months, but we feel this was a spectacular Fall camping experience.
