For KOA Holiday Hershey: We booked and stayed two weeks here in July 2021 spending around $1200 dollars for the stay. We previously lived close to this campground and have since moved away to the Southwest US. This was our first return trip home to Elizabethtown to visit family and friends. The sites are clean and well kept. Amenities are what is expected for a KOA. After that, it goes downhill fast and this is all based on the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a campground. In fact, it's embarrassing to say I used to live most of my life near this park and highly recommended them to outside visitors and felt good giving them my business when I came home to visit.
Here are some details. The laundry lady attendant was rude and unforgiving when my wife did not see the cleaning time's sign outside the building. Instead of politely telling her they were going to clean, she chewed her out and belittled her.
Second...some of the guys who drive around in carts are reluctant to just say hello. Okay...I get it, but when I wave my hand to someone I typically expected a welcomed response. Nah...not here.
Finally, on our last day in the park and having returned my rental car a day early, we had no transportation to leave. My son, who is a local, offered to bring us a pizza for dinner and spend about an hour with us before we left. I asked the ladies behind the counter and was looking for a "sure, have a great time" response. I said they are not going to use any facilities or amenities ($8/person visitor charge) and he and his wife would just spend an hour with us. The lady said she would check with the manager. I got a phone call an hour later and she said they could only spend 30 minutes with us or they would be charged $16! When my son arrived with the food that evening, I decided to pay the fee because I didn't want to rush them out for a measly few bucks. When I went in with my son to pay, the lady asked I see you have a dog in the car (my son's lap dog puppy). I said yes they do. She said no dogs allowed and you will have to take him home. This was not told to me earlier. She seemed to take great pleasure telling me this information. I told her what I thought of her campground, their service, and how I will never return nor will I give them a recommendation. In fact, this has me so angry I'm going to withdraw my KOA membership because of it. We had to promptly say goodbye to my son, his wife, and puppy and they left the campground.
Needless to say, this level of customer service is far below satisfactory and if I could give this campground 0 Stars, I would. This is no way to run a business. This is a popular campground due to proximity to Hershey Park. However, there are now more options for campers…I would choose an alternative. Sorry for the long rant, but in this day and age, customer service is what people want...don't expect that here.

For KOA Holiday Hershey: Stayed here for the RV show. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice and quiet area. Stayed in a back in site. Lots of room on both sides. Campground supplied a shuttle to and from RV show. I would definitely stay here again.

For KOA Holiday Hershey: Very nice campground. Grass between campsites. Campsites were gravel, but very compacted and nice. Our satellite dish found all three dish satellites and most sites look like they would to since most areas didn’t have trees. The Wi-Fi worked but I have a feeling if the campground was full it it could be slow. The only problem I had was I asked for a back in spot and they put me in a pull through. I presume it was just a misunderstanding and we were tired so we just kept the pull through site. The store showers and laundry room looked nice.
I do recommend it.

For KOA Holiday Hershey: Just the nicest campground we have stayed in!!! Lovely sites, newly updated, graveled, and huge! The staff was so friendly and helpful in directing us to the area attractions. We stayed here in a 43ft RV on a patio site that was full hook-up, pull-thru, and 100 ft long! I was sad to leave and will try to get back here some day!

For KOA Holiday Hershey: This is a KOA holiday, which means it has more amenities than an overnite ground. More about that later. We had a full hookup back in site. It was level and easy to get into. Surface was all gravel no trees. Long enough for our 30 ft TT but had to unhook the truck to keep driveway clear. Although our sites did not have treesothers did.
Wi fi was fast and strong, cable did not have HD, but plenty of OTA channels a ailabke in HD. Pool, laundry, basketball, playground, mini golf, fish pond, volleyball horse shoes. Good camp store with kiln dried firewood that waz better and lower cost than available locally.
Abot 20 min from Hershey parks and 30 minutes from Lancaster.
Only downside is they raise the rates and length of stay requirements for major holidays. Call campground directlg before you commit
