For Ohiopyle State Park: DO NOT TAKE THE ROAD FROM CONFLUENCE! And the hill from the town of Ohiopyle to the park is the steepest we have ever pulled the RV up and down. Sites are secluded and wooded, #20 supposedly big enough for our 25’ but wasn’t. The town is cute and all about whitewater. Definitely worth seeing.

For Ohiopyle State Park: Great location for outdoor sports and close to Fallingwater! Campsites are spaced nicely and in natural settings. Bath/shower house adequate. Some sites have electricity. Be sure to bring your own water.

For Ohiopyle State Park: State park without hookups for $30.50, not cheap. Reasonable park, but no cell phone service (t-mobile). Therefore 2 stars only. Showers were okay, nothing special. The surroundings are beautiful with Fallingwater close by.

For Ohiopyle State Park: This was our first trip with our newly purchased RV, 25 foot Open Range Ultra Lite. We stayed at site 42, which was perfect for us. It is a very large site that had enough room for our car, RV and if we had friends who wanted to set up 2 or 3 other tents. Keep in mind that these sites only have power. We drove from PIttsburgh with all of our tanks empty and filled up at one of the bath houses. It seemed that the majority of them had hose bibs. This was the first weekend that the campground was open for the season. All of the roads were not open and there was some need for leaves and branches to be cleared off of the roads that were open. We road our bikes from the campground down to Ohiopyle for lunch. Did the Ferncliff Peninsula trail which was about 2.5 miles and quite flat. Lunch at the House Cafe was good. We have 3 and 7 year old boys and we did not feel they would be able to walk their bikes back up the hill to the RV. So I rode my bike back up the trail and got the car to come back into town to get the rest of the family. We ended up taking the VERY STEEP hills up to the campground. Out Toyota Sequoia made it, but very slowly. Going back down these hills would have been very nerve racking, so we ended up going put past Kentuck Knob over to Route 40, which was much easier. Overall, a great experience for our first RV Camping adventure. Bathhouses were very clean and had a long supply of hot water. We will go back and definitely stay at this exact same spot

For Ohiopyle State Park: The Campground is mostly wooded and on a hillside. We stayed in one of the sites with electric allowing pets (192). It is a nice site. Fairly level and sufficiently separated from the sites on either side. There are no water or sewer hookups. There is a convenient dump. You can fill your fresh water tank at one of the bathrooms. The bathhouses are fair at best. They really need a refresh. Overall pretty nice. Typical for a PA State Park. Lots to do in the area. Fallingwater, Great Allegheny Passage rail-to-Trail, Fort Necessity, etc.

For Ohiopyle State Park: Crazy busy on the weekends due to the popularity of the natural wonders. Had to stand in line to shower and almost every site filled. Come Monday, though, it was peaceful and quiet. A dishwashing sink in men's and ladies bathrooms was a nice surprise. Short distance to hiking, waterfalls, the Allegheny bike trail, and the quaint little Ohiopyle Borough has shops with local grown goods, ice cream, chocolate ... Almost felt like we were at the beach. If you love hiking try Ferncliff peninsula which is surrounded by the river and waterfalls in all sides. Great place to stay ! We'll be back, but not on a weekend.

For Ohiopyle State Park: Great campground. Beware the non electric sites are almost on top of each other and are all gravel. With that being said, the town of Ohiopyle has lots of natural wonders great for hiking and white water rafting. Natural waterfalls and slides carved into the rocks. Only complaint is that quit hours start at 9pm which is strictly enforced.
