For Camping Juneau Chalets: Stayed here in a 40’ motorhome with a TOAD in a back-in site with water, sewer and electric (50 amp). Stayed for two nights. The roads were a bit narrow for our tastes to get through the campground and into our site. The campground is densely wooded; we were unable to get a satelite signal or local channels. The free WIF was very good, right in our rig. We did not have to go to a hotspot. Very convenient to explore Quebec. Approximately 20-30 minutes to Old Quebec town depending on whether or not you are going in during rush hour or not. A special service in the campground is they have a local chef they work with who makes croissants, baguettes and chocolatines fresh daily and delivers them to your site in the morning. For 2 croissants, 2 baguettes and 1 chocolatine our cost was $13 Canadian. They were all wonderful. In addition they offer food at night, home-made pizza, I believe. We were out and about so we did not take advantage of that. In addition to Old Quebec take the time to visit Montmorency Falls. Would definitely stay here again when in Montreal. Don’t count on internet.

Diane S

For Camping Juneau Chalets: Very friendly and welcoming environment. Quiet and private. I was worried it would be a “lined up side by side” type place since it is so near the city, but that is not the case at all. Very spacious sites for a private campground. Very good WiFi! Very convenient location for visiting the city. We drove past several of the other area private campgrounds and this one is in its own class compared to them. We drove into the city on a Sunday and it took about 20 minutes to the old city area.

Vicki Coe

For Camping Juneau Chalets: Campsite was spacious. Hosts were gracious. Fluent in English and French. We tried the bus to old Quebec. $3.50 and 90 minutes in transit which we didn’t mind at all. Got to people watch and see areas of the city we would not have normally seen. And the stop was right on front of the park. Could have used a little more elbow room in the shower as I am not a small person. We would come back to this spot again

George Nippell

For Camping Juneau Chalets: The staff speaks mainly French but can speak English. They are very nice.

The laundry is ONLY two washers and dryers. (I never looked at showers.)

The Bus Rouge Tour (double decker) is best if not raining. If, too sunny and hot take water, sunglasses, and a Hat that will NOT blow off.

The internet is very FAST. Site 43 is a back-in and very muddy on drivers side. We requested a pull thru 50 amp site but got here with a confirmation for 43.
