For Colleton State Park: Clean, natural setting. Nice sites and the swamp/river are very pretty. Small playground and good wifi throughout. Perfect for 1-2 days.

For Colleton State Park: This small, charming, and reasonably priced State Park is close enough to I-95 to be a convenient overnight stop while far enough away not to hear the interstate. The Campground Host and Park Ranger are both friendly and helpful.

For Colleton State Park: Stayed here on March 22, 2016. Small park, nice sites, inexpensive, and pretty. We were here one night while traveling north on 95. It's a convenient stopping place and will stay here again when in the area. Nice hiking trails and shaded sites. Bathrooms were clean.

Randy

For Colleton State Park: While the park is small, it is very well kept. The bathrooms are spotless. We stayed here from December 6th to 13th and the bathhouse was always warm and toasty inside. The showers were also nice and warm. I was happy to see they had normal faucets and not push buttons like other state parks we have been to. Larry the Park Ranger is AWESOME. He could not be any friendlier. Everytime he drives by he has a piece of candy for the kids or a biscuit for the dogs. If you have some time chat him up. He has some great stories. You can really tell he enjoys his job, it shows in the park. I only wished we had stopped in during the summer. The swimming hole looks great. The sites are nicely sized but not exactly private. The first few nights the park was full. We met some of the nicest people that were camping with a Good Sam chapte. During the week the park cleared out and we practically have the place to ourselves.

Skip Yale

For Colleton State Park: Nice quiet, well maintained and clean showers and restrooms. We only stayed over to break up our return trip to Florida and didn't check out the activities for the camp, but would certainly stop again and perhaps stay a few days. A young couple said the local swimming hole was very nice. Much better than many state & federal camps we stayed at from Florida to The finger Lakes Region of NY. The Park Ranger was very nice!
