For Weigand: This is a Gorgeous campground. Lots of shade. Generous sites with paved parking and river pebble (not dusty) patio area with an aluminum picnic table and a fire pit. Restroom and showers were immaculate. The campground host was funny, helpful and very nice. The setting for the whole campground is beautiful. We will be back.

For Weigand: another beautiful COE campground! it is about 4 miles west of Yankton (when you turn on to Toe Rd) and we saw no signs at all...even though the site says Weigand it is identified as Cottonwood when you get here. Please turn left on Toe Rd...if you take the next left it will get you there but you will not be able to take the turn in to the park and will have to cross the very skinny one car only bridge on the dam and turn around. When you turn on Toe Rd take the first entrance I down to the park area. It is the second campground...you will finally see a COE sign! on the lake...many waterfront sites...all the things we love about COEs. The price for a person of a certain age with the pass is $8/night! typical electric only sites.
