For Athens I-75 Campground: Electric boxes are hooked up backwards on some. Burnt cord up on some TVs including ours. One man lights were sizzling & he had to relocated at another site. Noisy neighbors we had & they are still their. Just know there are more beautiful peaceful campgrounds to not go to that one anymore. May have to pay more, but peacefulness would be worth it.

For Athens I-75 Campground: Glad we dont have to stay there now because of trashy men that is living there now. Friend told me she doesn't want us to take showers there anymore because of the man who stopped my husband from taking shower after 2 years Becky was letting us. That was nice of her, but we dont want to catch any disease from that man anyway. So be aware of any disease you could catch off of those men there, as my friend warned us about them & glad she did.As no more taking showers there anyway after hearing that. Uck!

Christmas
For Athens I-75 Campground: Location was great. We went to the "Lost Sea Adventure" and "Mayfair Dairy Plant Tour". Both were very enjoyable and are only a short drive from park. Beware of GPS directions. We have a small 5th wheel an the GPS took us on a road that was windy narrow and no shoulder. If you drive in from Freeway it is easy. The park does have new owner and they were friendly and helpful. Most of the sites were filled with people that might have a house somewhere else and have a short time job in the area. Most of them kept the area around their rigs clean. The AT&T and T-mobile was poor or non existing. They did have wifi, but it was slow. The bathhouse is old and the owner was power washing the floor and re-painting it to improve the appearance. The bathhouse and laundry were clean, but age makes it hard to be spotless. They have two washers and dryers that worked well. The site we stayed at was a large concrete pad and would take a much larger rig. Most sites were gravel and the gravel roads through the park are pretty uneven. The price was good and the owner has been working to improve the park, but it will take some money and time.

For Athens I-75 Campground: This place is for sale. The elderly couple who are the caretakers are unable to take care of this place and it appears the owner does not care!
The water hookups leak and are so close to the ground they are covered in mud, covers broken off the electrical boxes, huge branches that fell off trees were on our site that we removed before we could park.
We had to stay here, but never will again!
