For Chester Frost Park Hamilton County Park: This was our first time with our rig and we couldn’t have been any more lucky. Sites on the first island are great. Sites on the second island has some more hilly areas. Rangers are great, place is clean. Water is beautiful. Will be staying here again for sure

For Chester Frost Park Hamilton County Park: Our first camping trip and it was perfect. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily. Trash was picked up often. It was very peaceful here and we will be back. The wifi was fairly good most of the time. There was also a well kept laundry with two washers and dryers. This is a pet friendly park and our dog loved the long walks he was able to take here.

Crash
For Chester Frost Park Hamilton County Park: Quiet, peaceful park during our stay (5/26 - 6/3/2017). We had a pull-through (pull-over is more descriptive) with the utilities on the driver side -- 50 amp and water (dump station is nearby, but requires driving through the entire campground to get there, given the roads). Yet, we were also separated from Dallas Bay (?) by a swath of grass about 70 feet wide. Yes, people do run boats and jet skis nearby, but never before 7 or later than 10. The park has many roads readily accommodating hiking, dog-walking, running, or biking. The spaces are close, but other campers are courteous and keep the noise level low. The entire campground is quite forrested, but they are trimmed adequately to allow our nearly 13-feet-high big rig (43') to pass without incident. There are only 2 washers ($1.75/load) and 2 dryers ($1.25 & $1.50, depending on the one used). All were in good working order when we were there. There are at least 2 separate playgrounds for smaller children. The grounds were well-maintained with regular mowing of the grounds and daily garbage pick-up. Rangers also drove through regularly, so keep in mind the no-alcohol policy of the campground. Bring your own internet connectivity -- we worked all days we were here using our Verizon hotspot -- the park WiFi was hardly usable from our site (#170). Lastly, the price was great -- $22.50/day with our county-resident discount. So, I give Chester Frost Park campground 5 of 5. :-) Your opinion may vary. :-)

For Chester Frost Park Hamilton County Park: Only here for an overnight. Lots of motorized traffic, including boats and jet skis. Some uphill backing sites on 'the island', not especially peaceful. Sites are close.
