Switchback 
For Rock Creek Recreation Area: Great state run campground, nestled inside Cherokee national forest. Shady and cool, great place to escape the summer heat. All the camp lots are spacious and the whole campground is peaceful and quite. Bath houses are ok, could use some updating. Electric only, no water at sites. Drinking water is available at various places throughout the campground, including at the dump station. Nearby there’s a playground and man made swimming hole, fed by natural creek. Lots of nearby trails to hike on Unaka mountain. We did a hike to Rock Creek Falls, that did not disappoint!
