For Whispering Oaks Campground: Stayed for one night on the way home. Pull throughs are long and in the trees. There is a decent playground, a pool and a large field the kids played in after being cooped up in the truck all day. The park feels a little older but is well maintained and the staff was great. Convenient to I-24. $35 for 50 amp FHU. I would definitely stay again if passing through.

For Whispering Oaks Campground: This is a great place. We stayed for just an overnight. It is handy to the interstate but far enough away that we didn’t hear any interstate noise. Safe and friendly too. Beautiful trees all throughout the park. We would definitely stay here again.

For Whispering Oaks Campground: Clean. Well maintained. Wonderful, helpful owners. Good electric and water. A good distance from the freeway—quiet. No irritating park streetlights to shine through your window. Best of all: TREES. All sites are among trees. So-so WiFi. Would defend stay again.

For Whispering Oaks Campground: $35 W/E/S. No cable. Internet was actually pretty fast. Bath house is old and small, but clean. Sites are close. It was fine for an overnight. Pool looked nice. Satellite is a shot in the dark as it’s very shady. We were able to adjust for a signal. ATT has a strong signal.

For Whispering Oaks Campground: Nice out of the way camp grounds. Owners very friendly. I stayed one night. Would probably not stay long term. Sites are very close. Everything was clean and serviceable. At $35 per night for 30 amp hookup & water, was worth one nights stay.

For Whispering Oaks Campground: Stayed for one night on the way through. Lots of shade, owners very nice. It is a great spot for just a night when you are traveling through, it would not be my cup of tea for longer than that. It is way too close together for us.
