For Alamo Palms RV Resort: Matt (Dec. 2020) - I don't like to give bad reviews because I usually like to ignore minor problems at RV Parks. But I can't do that here. To start out positive, the permanent residents are very friendly to RV'ers and the bathrooms are fairly clean (hence the 2 stars). Now for some, not all of the negatives: - Sites are small both in length and width. My awning was about 1 foot from the adjacent RV. - Electric is extra $$. - The pool heater was broken for 2 weeks, for lack of a part they could have overnighted. - The desk staff was not friendly. When asked when the pool would be fixed staff's response was "When it's fixed". - A lot of trip hazards from old wires and pipes. - But the worst was our surprise about what was advertised as FRRE Cable TV and Internet. We had to drive 30 minutes in heavy traffic to the Spectrum store to pick up our TV box, motum, router and all the wires and then self install it all with very little instruction. We also had to return it to the store before we left. Those are just some of the problems. This Park has gone down hill according to other residents.
