For Mobil Village RV Park: Camphosts Betty and Gene were incredibly kind and welcoming. Rate was good at only $16.00/day through Passport America. We stayed in site #13 and it was paved and relatively level. Our main complaint was that the sewer hose connection was located way at the back of the site. It was so far away that we had to connect 2 sewer hoses together to reach it! There is also a large curb that you have to back over to get into the sites. Very steep and this should be fixed if possible. Campground is located in a rough part of town. Lots of Sanford and Son junkyard-looking homes. Residents in the mobile home across the street loved to rev their souped-up car engines at all hours. Lots of people driving around with booming bass car stereos as well. Betty mentioned during check-in that the area is quiet but sadly that was not our experience. Also be careful if you are jogging as their are lots of unleashed large dogs in the neighborhood. The free wifi worked at our site and it was fast. My AT&T phone had 4 bars and the hotspot worked great. Decent restrooms and showers. Good laundry room and a deal at only $1.50 to wash and $1.50 for 1 hour of drying. Masks are required in the main building due to Covid-19. Free ferry to Port Aransas is about 15 minutes away.

For Mobil Village RV Park: Basic one night place. Worked fine for the price but not a destination.
