For Austin Lone Star RV Resort: Located close to downtown and easy access to downtown, this park was a nice find for us. The park itself is nice, with lots of trees and lots of spots. The biggest drawbacks are the gravel sites and the close proximity to the freeway.
We enjoyed the pool and we really liked the gated aspect of the park.
Austin is amazing and South Congress was just a
10 minute drive. Don’t miss The Continental Club for live music and Hopdoppy for some of the best hamburgers ever!up

For Austin Lone Star RV Resort: Couldn’t get any closer to Austin, so we chose this campground.
Paid $54 with good Sam. Stayed 2 nights . Nice campground, level sites, excellent laundry room . Very nice front desk people . We would recommend this place . The drive to the city was 10-15 min depending on traffic . You must eat at Terry’s Black’s BBQ and Vera Cruz taco’s in Austin! Amazing!! We didn’t use the bathroom but it was spotless. Nice big bushes between sites . Had to cover the bedroom window with a towel to block the street light .

Menekaunee
For Austin Lone Star RV Resort: Stayed 1 night traveling back to Wisconsin. Austin Lone Star texted me in the morning of our arrival with both directions and instructions for arrival after the office was closed. Both were great. All entrances to the park and buildings required a code to enter. Felt very safe. The bathrooms and showers were great. Very clean.
Our pull through site was long enough so I could stay hooked up to my fifth wheel. This made for a quick get away in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Roving Larry
For Austin Lone Star RV Resort: Nice RV Park with a few cottages near the office. Access key provided to get through security gate. Road construction (Feb 2019) is backing up traffic outside but if feels quiet, peaceful and safe inside.

BMW
For Austin Lone Star RV Resort: Front desk staff extremely rude and unhelpful. We’ve stayed here before and the same lady was rude last time. I just figured she was having a bad day and let it slide. Now we’re back and assigned another unlevel spot. We’ve never had difficulty leveling our rig at other places. It took 7 tries in 100 degree heat to level our 5th wheel. I went to the office and asked for a different space. There were numerous empty spots but the owner and staff said that they were not available because other people were arriving and leaving. When I suggested that I would just move our RV the the space next to our assigned one, the office staff said that wasn’t an option. When I asked for suggestions, she offered to refund my money. But during UT graduation weekend, this wasn’t an option. She was threatening and unsympathetic. Then another staff came to our site shortly afterwards and asked why we needed it to be level. I was at a loss for words at that point!
