For Ballinger City Park: Lovely city park. There are 2 sections for RV parking; one is right on Elm Creek and the other just east by a retaining wall for the creek. The mostly pull thru parking by the Creek (where we stayed) has 5-6 shelters w/concrete picnic tables. The other section has 16-17 mostly back-in spots set up in a half circle shape; NO shelters/picnic tables. (In this section, you can hear the water falling over the retaining wall.)
The road to get into/out of the park is VERY steep, so be careful with a manual transmission! The park has a large city swimming pool and playground.

For Ballinger City Park: Nice city park. Quiet. To get there drive north on Casson Ave from in town. there is another road that angles in from the East but is dirt and " not good" according to the guy who came that way. Their dump station is on the entrance to that dirt road so we didn't even try to use it in case we couldn't get turned around. For $15 you get water and electricity. Two RV areas: one beside the little muddy lake on top of a retaining dike and a second area on one side of the park. Park employee said both areas cost the same with the same hookups. The three RVs staying on October 24, 2017 all chose to park beside the lake. Would stay here again.
