Go 1/2 mile to National Park site for $12 a night. Free dump station and water.
AllStays note: This is a National Park campground but it is a concessionaire run location. That means it is a contract with another management company which is very common throughout the National Park Service. They are usually the ones with more hookups and services and these locations usually cost more.

For Rio Grande Village RV Campground - Big Bend National Park: This is basically a paved parking lot, but it's the only game in the park if you want hookups. It gets very hot here, like close to 100 even in October when we were there and there's no shade, so you do need your A/C at times. There is a store there for basic supplies, but be sure to do your full shopping before you get there, because this is remote. We spent 3 nights here and that was enough. If it's hot, spend the day in the Chisos Mtns. there. There's a lodge, nice restaurant and picnic areas up there, so you could find a shady spot to pass the day. There are nice scenic drives and hikes in the park, but it's desert and you are usually exposed to sun. If you plan to go in Nov. Or Dec., reserve well ahead because that's their peak time.
