For Cleburne State Park: Site #54. Utilities are well placed and in good shape. Power is good and consistent. WiFi and cell signals were weak or non existent. Site was clean. Pad was sloped quite a bit at rear. Several nearby pads were sloped at one end. We used Lynx blocks under rear jacks to make up distance. Our loop was only about half full. There were trails to walk. Nothing extreme. Squirrels and stray cats around. You can hear a minor noises from the Lime plant across the lake. We’re told we couldn’t have open fire pit fires but saw several each day with no apparent enforcement. If you had a fire screen you were ok. Don’t forget to put your campsite permit/receipt in your window. We saw a yellow ticket on one camper’s truck window Our pad was a little narrow for our rig which is 8’ 4â€. The park is clean and well run, not one we’d reject out of hand at all, but there isn’t much to draw us back after we’ve been once.

For Cleburne State Park: Lovely smaller State Park. Stayed for 5 days and visited Dinosaur Valley State Park and the City of Cleburne while we were here. Lots of really nice hiking and biking trails. Areas to fish and swim. Wi-Fi was available but occasionally spotty. We stayed in spot 57 in Poplar Point. Some spots next to the lake have quite a slope and we had a real challenge leveling our bigger 5th wheel. Be mindful of this as some of the smaller trailers had challenges as well. Other sites in the park were more level. Very quiet at night. Close to a cement plant and you can hear it but it wasn’t loud. Park Staff were very nice.

For Cleburne State Park: Had a great time. Kids loved the playground which was walking distance from our site. Nice beach area. All the tree coverage helped with the summer heat.

For Cleburne State Park: Almost 4 stars. 30ft 5'er. Would camp again. Stayed in Keyhole. North Creek would be better. Cedar Grove too small. Good swimming area but beach could be groomed better. Playground needed some TLC but kids enjoyed it. Have iPhone6 w/ATT and could not get service at site. Could get signal at scenic overlook and boat ramp. Looking at getting weBoost now
