For Texoma City Park - Dumas: Great free stop in the middle of a long drive home to DFW from Colorado. We arrived around 9:30pm on a Saturday night and there were 3-4 sites still open. 2 sites had tape over the electrical so we assumed they weren’t working but in a bind they could’ve been used to boondock. I only heard the train whistle before falling asleep at midnight and around 6am. My kids loved the playground and it was nice to be able to cook dinner instead of getting fast food.

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: Equipment: 34’ Travel Trailer w/ opposing slides Perfect for an overnight stop on your way through Texas. Coming from MS, on our way to CO and having a spot with power for a night was greatly appreciated. It’s a free spot, with a 24 hour limit. There is a little dog park (plenty of left over dog poop - not fault of park), a playground, dumpster, and dump.

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Playground for the kiddos with water and restrooms. Electric hookups on a dirt lot. First come first serve as it is free. Only three other people here with us staying. Couldn’t ask for more after a long day of driving and having to continue travel the next day.

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: Pros: This City RV Park shows vast improvement since we drove by a few years ago. (We didn’t stay that year)The grass was mown; well lit; large gravel/level lot, dog park & water available. Easy on/off from main highway. FREE-thank you city of Dumas! Cons: Electric hookups work intermittently. Restroom building was recently painted & good lighting but toilets not in working order. s

Coach Bob

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: It may be nothing but a gravel parking lot but it’s FREE with electric hook up. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. It may look sketchy but the police patrol it and we felt safe. Try to buy something in town because the town of Dumas provides this free stop over.

RedGypsy

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: No water hook up but there is a threaded water spicket by the grassy park. Nights limited to one nite only. Small dog park full of dog waste. Too bad, this used to be a great two nite break on cross Texas trips!

Smullis7

For Texoma City Park - Dumas: Like the last reviewer, we didn’t get here until after 7pm, but there were still sites available. Each site has power. Water and a dump site are also available. The area is clean, but no frills. It’s mostly quiet, but next to train tracks and trains passed a few times. But it’s free, so no complaining. 😁
