For Hill Country RV Park: Agree with previous reviews. Nothing fancy, but friendly staff and good location. Full hookups with cable for way less than others in the area. Stayed in a 34 MH with toad.

For Hill Country RV Park: In this area you pay $60 for a spot. This place was $40. It’s an older park no pool, no dog walk, did not use their restrooms or laundry room. Check in was easy. The manager was cleaning the fence line from over grown grass! This is mostly a long term park. Not many empty spots and mostly older trailers. It’s next door to the police department and a block away from Walmart. It’s safe and quiet and maybe 4 minutes from the downtown area. I would come back again, but I don’t need all the sparkly stuff to be happy.
Eat at Pecan Grove! A must! And visit Hondos for great outdoor and family atmosphere and free music!
We sis eat German but we must have picked the wrong place not overwhelmed by it. Fredericksburg is a great little town to spend a few days

For Hill Country RV Park: We arrived before New Years Eve to enjoy the Fredericksburg night lights, decorations, German restaurants. We were assigned site 20 next to Laundromat which was perfect for us. $1 per wash and $1 for drying, very reasonable. RV staff very nice at check in to highlight how to see the town and were to find German foods. All in all, we enjoyed our 3 night stay.

For Hill Country RV Park: Although the front desk staff was more helpful than any we've encountered on our travels, there were a few things that made this only a 2-star for us. First, there's virtually no trees and nothing is paved. Second, the sewer hookup sticks up about 4 to 6 inches from ground level, making it difficult to dump without some sort of system to elevate your sewer hose. But, by far, the most negative aspect was their showers. There were only two showers in the women's bathroom and one was down for maintenance. The only one that was functional was extremely dirty. Looked like it had been a long time since it was cleaned. Floor was scummy and full of hair...really gross. And the water pressure was really low too. Really difficult to get over how terrible that shower was.
