For Fritch Fortress Campground - Lake Meredith National Recreation Area: Great camping spot. Nice views, relatively quiet except for weekends, bathrooms with flush toilets sinks, and showers, freshwater dump as you enter or exit the campsite above all it is free. would absolutely stay here again.

For Fritch Fortress Campground - Lake Meredith National Recreation Area: Incredible views and despite being free, still equipped with flush toilets and private hot showers.
As others have mentioned, it’s very windy even on relatively calm evenings, so just be mindful of the weather.

For Fritch Fortress Campground - Lake Meredith National Recreation Area: Great views of the lake. The sites were free and easily accessible. Exceptionally windy and not really much space at each site. They are basically picnic sites where you can park the RV overnight or tent camp. Do not expect privacy.

For Fritch Fortress Campground - Lake Meredith National Recreation Area: Loved this site. Not only was it free and had wonderful views of Lake Meredith but it is also equipped with flush toilets and showers. Very exposed. I wouldn’t recommend in strong winds or storms.

For Fritch Fortress Campground - Lake Meredith National Recreation Area: stayed overnight on our trip west, great view, but 1st site was on high ground, after the sun went down the winds picked up. and was shacking the camper, had to move to lower ground to please the wife, but great overnight spot, would stay agian
