For Loyd Park-Joe Pool Lake: Nice and clean park. Right on lake with good access. Sites well spaced and nice facilities with rentals of all kinds, and a nice little store. Staff helpful. Location near city, roads a mess getting to this park, once all of the construction is done it should be nice. Sewer dump on one side was ok, but the park is big, they could use two dumps at each station, as the line gets long.

For Loyd Park-Joe Pool Lake: Great quiet park, few miles from so much traffic and town, but this was a quiet oasis, fish from sites, trees and privacy. Pavilions for each pad. Some sites more level than others but not bad. Bathrooms clean and staff super sweet

For Loyd Park-Joe Pool Lake: Great park. Got a site on the lake. Big sites, not on top of neighbors. Lots of trees, covered picnic table and a great grill.

For Loyd Park-Joe Pool Lake: A park to compare other parks to. Fairly level, paved pads, large sites with covered picnic table, charcoal grill and fire ring, distance and foilage between sites for a bit of privacy, large trees for shade (critical in summer heat), we had good wifi/cell signals and free digital TV (22 channels) but that may vary site to site. Lots of hiking/biking trails throughout park, canoe/kayak rentals available, lake swimming area and a playground.

For Loyd Park-Joe Pool Lake: Very clean park and great sites. Bank fishing is difficult because of a lot of stumps in the water. Fills up very fast so you will want to reserve online well in advance. Nice day use and group areas. Very clean bathrooms too.
