For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: Stayed 2 nights on our way home. Sites are spaced apart and fairly level. Friendly staff an park is conveniently located close to H‑E‑B, Walmart, Sams, & Lowes. But bathhouses need updated. Ours was not cleaned during our stay.

For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: Big campsites. Lots of elbow room. Hiking and biking trails. Buffalo, deer, armadillos, javelins and varieties of bird species including water fowl. Supposed to be a herd of long horns but didn’t see them. Wildlife viewing (aka bird blind) near the entrance.water and 50 amp electricity. The only drawback is the lack of trees and brush which could slow down the wind when it blows. Desert campground.

For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: We love this park! We stay here whenever we are traveling between Wyoming and Corpus Christi. Lots of space between the sites, very quiet.

For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: Stayed two nights in December. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not many campers staying there this time of year. Gravel asphalt sites and fairly level. Overall maintenance is fair. Can see buffalo grazing. Stayed in area 1 thru 9. $24 per night without a park permit.

For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: Stayed 3 days in early October 2017. Red Arroyo campground offers 50 amp electric and water, large pull- thru spots or back in spots, both with covered picnic tables. It's West Texas, not the hill country so enjoy the difference in landscape and foliage (not large trees, mostly mesquite trees, cactus, etc). Public bathrooms, stalls & showers, were very, very clean (& I'm picky, Lol!). Staff at South entrance of State Park were extremely friendly and helpful. The city of San Angelo is close enough to drive in for supplies, shopping and gas or propane stations. All and all a great place to visit! We will be back and recommend to others!!

For Red Arroyo - San Angelo State Park: We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2016. The sites are very nice with lots of seperation betweem them. Water and power were good. I would have given this park a higher rating but the bathrooms are horrible. One of them had 2 inches of water on the floor and the other had no TP. They were both dirty with no soap to wash your hands.
