BigMo

For Alamo River RV Resort: We stayed at the “Alamo RV Resort”, On 2 December 2018. The only good thing I can say about it was that through some effort we washed our clothes. They had 4 old washers and 4 even older dryers. One of each was broken, one of the dryers did not dry and of the other 2 dryers one sounded like it was going to come apart. This “resort” was mostly populated by permanent residents. Lots of school age kids and lots of older trailers and 5th wheels. One thing was that the greeting staff was friendly. We will not be returning to this place.

Barbara

For Alamo River RV Resort: The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The sites are level and the restrooms get cleaned twice a day. The restrooms are spacious and very nice. There is a pasture with horses and cows and a hen house across from it. There is a large fenced in dog area and a small playground for the kids. There is a dog rescue the property next to the RV park but far enough away that it wasn't annoying. This park is only 18 miles from San Antonio. I would come here again.

milfam

For Alamo River RV Resort: We decided to stay at the Alamo River for our son's graduation weekend at Lackland. Pulling up we were skeptical but decided to stay using our 2 free TFT nights and adding 4 more nights. The first day we found tons of sticker thrones in our grassed area and multiple fireant mounds. The next morning we were awaken by the dog shelter neighboring the campgrounds. It was a very loud pack of what had to be 50+ dogs. We decided this was not going to be a comfortable stay. Decided to leave. Their policy states refunds are case by case. We only stayed for 1 of our free nights and they refused to refund the 4 nights we paid for even though we only stayed one night and they did not hold a reservation for us in advance. Owner refused to even talk to me on the phone. Don't go here, it's a very sad place and dishonest.

Majesticday

For Alamo River RV Resort: Nice!! clean bathroom/shower, laundry, and park. Laundry has separate w/d for oil rig clothes. Few permanent/seasonals but well kept. One of the most beautiful oak trees on walk down to fish by creek. Great spot for kids to try fishing. Train does go by but far enough off to not really bother. Office personnel top notch

For Alamo River RV Resort: Quiet. Clean. Nice showers. Kids absolutely loved the site with the tree rope that swung out over the Medina river! Fishing. Camped here Dec 2015.

Mr. T

For Alamo River RV Resort: Quiet and clean facilities, gated and seemed to be secure. Friendly staff. Appeared that some permanent residents were a little lax in following some rules...dog poop was a biggie. Overall, would recommend and will return.
