Tammy

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: Friendly, family oriented, perfectly relaxing stay. Pull through, level, packed gravel sites with full hookups. Convenient I-40 access but not noisy. Dog park, swings and farm animals really were nice additions that enhanced our stay. Pleasant walk with the dog (and no stickers in her paws). A true “mom and pop” park where pride of ownership shines through. Fun trivia… town is about 1 mile away and home to the Conoco station that was the inspiration for Disney’s “Cars”. Route 66 is iconic and it’s worth seeing. Paid $32 for 75’ pull through in the shade Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

RULOS on the road

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: This place is simple but clean. Spot level and at a price you can’t beat! Very friendly people and cute animals. We had our air on so didn’t hear any i40 road noise. Easy on and off. We highly recommend!

Laura M

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: Long level sites, lots of room. Safe and quiet. Great area to walk dogs. Cute farm animals: donkey, cows, goats, sheep, chickens. Great convenience/gift store. Purchased a nice blanket that worked as represented for naps. We will be returning.

Mark

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: I don’t usually give reviews but the place is the exception. This owner is working hard to make this a great camp ground and it shows. He is such a nice guy and very helpful. He said the campground was deserted by its previous owner and he bought it 3 years ago. Our site must have been over 100’ long and I didn’t even have to unhook the 5th wheel cause it was perfectly level. Far enough off I 40 that the noise was not an issue. Full hookups with 50 amp was just $32. I can see that he has installed a new storm shelter as well as a small store at the office. This place is just huge with lots of room between RVs. Hope he does well. He deserves it for his efforts.

CHris and Cindy

For Texas Route 66 RV Park: Really, really like this place. Owners were great and really helpful. Internet speed was fantastic (compared to most parks). Really nice and quiet, loved the farm animals and the laid-back vibe. Definitly would stay here again. Great place for our big dog, too.
