For Lake Sweetwater Park: Used for a one night while traveling; price is great at $15 for water and electric. Says dump station, but it’s at a back corner of very basis flush restrooms and would be somewhat difficult to access. Spacious. Needs to have sign with instructions and directions on how to get to golf course to check in.

Fabulous A

For Lake Sweetwater Park: Rough going for big rig. Found way through trees, but [bad] aqua hot exhaust due to unevenness between dirt road through sites and paved through campground. No directions to golf course posted. Bathrooms are awful and people just pull in to dump garbage, like previous reviewer commented.

For Lake Sweetwater Park: Great place to stay away from the I20 when travelling. Only about 10 minutes from the Interstate. Everything on the Interstate looked run down and noisy! This is a city park. You have to go to the golf course which is about 5 minutes away to self pay and only $6 a night and an extra $2 for electric. You can take the tarmac road through the site and out the far end to get to the golf course.Stayed in December for 2 nights during a storm. Only 2 other rigs there.
Dump station is behind the toilet block and you need to look for the connection in the ground (looking from the road it is on the right). Required driving over the grass to it.
Toilets not fit for use but as self contained so we did not require. For the price you can not beat it. No problems with trees as mentioned elsewhere, but we did walk around.
Rubbish dumpsters at the entrance seem to be for all the local houses as well and overflowing when there, but we were well away from them so OK.
The Lake is a 5 minute walk away further down the road from the entrance, but now not suitable for fishing or boating due to lack of water.

Mitckell

For Lake Sweetwater Park: Not a bad place but a lot of low trees. Scratched the side of our trailer pretty bad
To avoid trees we pulled to the side, got stuck and had to hire a tow truck. Be prepared to walk sites first if you have a larger rig
Been full timers for 12 years and never had this much trouble. Not a bad park even for large rigs just go in early

Hilarious Grizzly Ro

For Lake Sweetwater Park: Nice manager. Friendly. Just stayed one night so didn't use facilities much.
