For Magnolia Ridge: Hard to find lovely park. A bit swampy, with alligator warnings. Sites are very well spaced and ours was level. Great park host. There were fire ants that found my foot and leg, apparently also snakes although we didn’t see one. $18 a night, half price with National parks card.

The Novel RV
For Magnolia Ridge: Beautiful park! Nicely maintained. Stayed here in a Class B in site 21. Planned on only staying two nights before doctor appointment in Livingston 50 miles away, but decided to book a full week and make this my base camp while in the area. Worth the drive. Paid $8/night with Senior Pass for electric/water hook ups. Decent dump site on premises. This will be my go-to place when I have to return to Livingston.

For Magnolia Ridge: We stayed 10 nights in mid February 2019. Stayed in site 38, which is isolated from all other sites except for site 37. Magnolia Ridge is located on the upper end of the lake and the edge of the lake is lined with cypress trees. The site is a back in which is well over 100 ‘ long, but for the 1st 50’ is to get past site 37. We liked the site very much. All we could hear at night were the frogs. Jasper TX is about 15 miles one way and Woodville about 15 miles the other way, both of which had all the amenities normally needed. Will stay here again if in the area.

For Magnolia Ridge: This is a beautiful park that has been ruined by the contractor that has the mowing concession. We were one of two or three campers in the park. The mowers ignored thousands of square feet of tall grass to run their mowers right beside our RV and car where there was no grass blowing dust over everything. The owner told me multiple times that he made much more money than I did. One of his workers lied to us multiple times, lied to his boss and used profane language. We strongly recommend avoiding this park and the other COE parks on the same lake.
