For WillowWind RV Park: Nice concrete pads with a grass strip on either side. A bit closer together than I prefer but everyone was quiet, so really not an issue. Bathrooms and showers very clean and nice. Only two showers but not a problem for us. Good laundry room. Good WiFi. Friendly people. Not a far drive to Zion or St. George and also close to grocery shops. Would stay here again.

Jonathan

For WillowWind RV Park: The nicest campground I’ve ever stayed at - period. Friendly staff, immaculate facilities and beautiful and roomy lots. WIFI was super fast. Park was quiet but close to shopping too. We spent two nights here for a hit of R&R on a multiple week road trip and we will absolutely return. Although not the cheapest campground I think their rates are fair and were quite a bit less than the KOA we checked into today. They are Good Sam Campground so you do get a discount if you are a Good Sam Club member.

Dudel

For WillowWind RV Park: We came here because all other campgrounds closer to Zion were full. It’s about 40 minutes from the park entrance. The surroundings aren’t very inviting, the park looks OK because of the many trees. Bathrooms are clean but there are not enough showers. No WiFi for people who check in after the office hours. No picknick table. Pretty expensive for what it is.

For WillowWind RV Park: An oasis during 3 days of excessive heat warnings
Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $47.00
25' Motorhome with toad (42' overall)

We were on the road for 3 weeks and this resort was in the top 3. We were driving through an "excessive heat" advisory for 3 days, and most of the RV parks had zero shade, dust, stickers, & poor reviews. Basically parking lots. WillowWind was like an oasis!

We arrived after hour and chose a shaded, pull-thru site (#120) so we didn't have to unhook the toad. The after-hours map of available sites was clear and organized and the interior streets were wide and easy to navigate and sites clearly marked. Our site was within 1.25" of being level, pad was concrete and our dogs appreciated having some grass (our site was concrete and "living space" was rocks). The water spigot was in a valve box (which took me a minute to figure out), so if you go, don't worry when you don't see a raised spigot, just look inside the valve box. Most sites are heavily shaded with ample clearance for tall rigs, but there is an area of satellite friendly sites along the perimeter. We and most others opted for shade this time of year. There seems to be a few full-timers. The bathroom was immaculate, so much so that I took a shower in it (something I rarely do), rather than use the shower in our RV. It was heaven! There is a dog wash, fitness center, laundry, tent sites, dog park area, clubhouse with kitchen, and group area.

We found the other campers we encountered to be friendly. The man next to us, with his slick 4 horse trailer/5th wheel, said he and his family always stays at WillowWind whenever traveling through the area from Phoenix. It is a quiet campground and the only kids I saw were the 2 quiet teenagers staying next to us. There are services...fuel, restaurants, grocery, etc very nearby. It's a good location for visiting the State Parks in this region of UT. If you are looking for a resort type campground, that is extremely well maintained, shady, level, safe and has plenty of services, I highly recommend WillowWind.
