Carlson

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: The Campground itself is nice. It has big trees and is conveniently located minutes from Arches NP and Canyonlands. Site #67 was leveled, with table and bbq. Staff was pretty friendly. This campground gets a 2 star review because they are more expensive than advertised (we paid $60 for a pull-through site). There is a “TFT” in addition to the tax and we figure it’s a cc use charge of 10%+. The bathroom / shower facility (the one that we used was closest to the registration office) was in terrible shape. There was one very small shower stall with a rag of a shower curtain. The faucets were rusted through, the shower head needs to be replaced. The same small room had 3 toilets. The ventilation was totally inadequate, the air in the bathroom reeked. For $60 I expect a minimum of cleanliness in the bathrooms. We did not use anything else on the campground.

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: The previous reviews are correct. Old park, disorganized, its a zoo. But options are very limited. Big rigs beware lots of trees and small sites. Walk to your site before you pay, otherwise you may get a bad surprise. DTB

Missy and Ron

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: The campground is large and close to Arches National Park. The facility is overall very dated however clean. The sites are very close and on sand base. Some sites have gravel though. The electric hookups are very dated and we had to purchase a conveter. Our site was across from the restrooms which was great. Restrooms are very dated but clean. Hot water was plentiful. Did not use the laundry nor pool. Quiet in the evenings with no road noise. Overall, the cost per night is overpriced however may be comparable to other campgrounds in the area due to the many tourist attractions.

Jandjstar

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: Convenient to arches but stupid campground design. Full hook up sites are face to face elbow to elbow. Share the same picnic table with your neighbor to save space and cram more campers in. Every other campground is door side of your camper to backside of your neighbor so there is a touch of privacy but not here

L

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: Pros- very near Arches National Park- full hook ups- setting is at the base of mountains.
Cons- Crowded, children running around unattended. Sites had a concrete pad and gravel surround.
We only stayed one night and was happy to get a full hook up site. We closed our windows, turned on our fans; all outside sounds were muted and we slept like babies.

Meghan

For Sun Outdoors North Moab: Pros: shade trees in an otherwise hot and dry place are hard to come by, laundry (albeit expensive $1.75/wash, dry). Cons: playground is dangerous and dirty, grounds need a lot of upkeep and investment in improvements, store is poorly stocked, sites are crammed in tight and dusty.
