For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Reserved in Jan for May arrival. THREE DAYS before arrival received email from park manager requesting credit card information (which I gave when making reservation) and asking for $110.00 more than originally confirmed . She explained there was a new owner now and my reservations were during a local special event. To her credit she honored most of the original confirmation price. However, upon arrival, the desk person said we were too early (11:41) for a 1:00 check in and would have to pay a $5 "early arrival fee" even though my assigned space was empty. I asked if I could pull in the park along the side and was told "no, there is no room". I paid the $5.00 and entered the park to find major open areas along the side and back of the park that were completely empty. I then pulled into my assigned site and was met by a different employee who said the person who checked me in was new and made a mistake. My $5.00 was returned. I then opened the brochure they gave me and read check in time is 12:00 not 1:00 .so...... I was actually 19 minutes early. I spent a week there at terribly high rates worrying what else they would find to charge me more money. A nice park, Good facilities but very disconcerting welcome. I will not return.

Jimbo

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Nice campground. Nice workers. But, very noisy. Highway noise all night long. After first night, I asked to be moved. Lady at front desk said that they didn't have room. I don't get that. Rigs were coming and going for the 10 days we stayed here. Wifi is terrible to non-existent. Spaces are level gravel but roads are dusty gravel and the 5mph limit is not enforced so when someone speeds through, they leave a dust cloud. Our rig, truck, lawn furniture and picnic table were covered with dust. We had no shade on our site.
Pretty expensive for what you get.
We would not return here.

Huddy

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Spanish Trail is a very nice rv park in a beautiful location. It has nice, gravel, pull through sites with shade trees. The only fly in the ointment is the general rudeness of the staff. Upon our arrival, we walked into the office where the clerk's first words to us were "check in time is 12:00". I asked her (half kidding/half not) if she wanted us to leave. She said, "yeah". Well...what to do? I asked her if our site was ready as we had reservations. I was quite frankly shocked at her lack of customer service skills. She pushed a few buttons on the computer and said we could go to a site after all. I don't mean this to sound like I am just a grumpy camper, but really I do believe she could have returned our smiles and hellos with a welcome to our campground. She could have said let me see if I can find you a spot before she reprimanded us about getting there early. At any rate, we are enjoying the campground and are looking forward to seeing the beautiful sights nearby.

Ron B

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Park is well cared for and plenty of shade trees and nice landscaping. Road noise is not all that bad and after dark it seems very quiet. Passport America rates make it very desirable. They do not offer weekly rates - only daily. About 3 miles from town. We Wil definitely stop again when d see when going through this area.

Rondacker

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Located south of Moab. Park has gravel lots, with great shade trees. Too many cable tv channels to watch. Road noise from Rt 191 out front is the only downside. Other than that, it's a great park to spend a few days enjoying the Moab area!

RVnChick

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: Long, gravel and dirt pull-through sites. Tall shade trees and grass between sites. Narrow cement strips to step out on. Road noise is very noticeable. Passport America price makes it worth it. Located a few miles south of town.

Bee

For Spanish Trail RV Park-Campground: This is a great place to stay. The bathrooms are always spotless and there is plenty of space between spots so that you are not real close to the next rig.
This is our favorite rv park in Moab.
