For Breaks Interstate Park: Just spent 10 days with friends on sites 45 & 46. I think they’re the best sites. There’s a water treatment pump behind 40. Avoid sites around that zone.
This park is wonderful. Great trails, water park, geocache, super people. The Notches hike is superb. Get the interpretive sheet at the visitor center. Took the Elk tour. It was good but best time would be fall.

For Breaks Interstate Park: Pros: Beautiful hiking and views. Camp host and employees were very helpful, especially the camp host named, “Testerâ€. Fun little water park for kids. To the best of their ability the problems we had were mad right by the camp commission that runs the park.
Cons: Camp sites are close together and are mainly gravel. Sewer hookups need updated because my hose hook up didn’t fit and was on the wrong side of the camper. Had to pay $10 a person to get into the water park even if you didn’t swim. Price wasn’t included in camp site reservations. Not easy to get to.

For Breaks Interstate Park: Stayed 9/2019. Great Stay! Decent sized, semi-level, gravel lots, with full hookups; lots of shade and some privacy. The views from the trails were amazing, but most rails were rotten, with missing boards. Plenty of hiking trails, but bikes were only allowed on one trail. The trail to The Notches is a must! Huge gospel singing Labor Day weekend.
The campground sites weren’t bad, but the park over all was poorly maintained. Some showers didn’t work, bath houses were nasty. Pool looked nice, but you had to pay $10 per person. Also had to pay $2. to enter park. In my opinion, swimming and parking should be free to overnight guests.
