For Skyline Ranch Resort: Nice shade from mature hardwoods, but causes iffy sat reception . Site not level front wheels of class A 6 in off the ground . Water was tinted brownish . Some drank it but we used bottled except for shower and dishes . Iffy Wi-Fi $45 per month

For Skyline Ranch Resort: Omg....where do I start? The only positive thing I can say about this RV Park is that the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You will get a warm welcome from them. Having said that, I can only say this is, without doubt, the worst site I have ever stayed. To begin with, they charge outrageous prices. $60 per night is high for an overnight stay. (Well, they did give me a “senior “ discount so I “only” paid $56!). And...what did we get for this? A place where the RV’s are practically on top of each other. RV’s shoved in side-by-side with absolutely no privacy. Amenities? No picnic table, no fire pit....nothing but a small space to park your RV. Hey....how about a little wi-fi for your $60 fee? Sure.....but it’s going to cost you extra. They charge $3.00 wi-fi fee for 24 hours. We paid for this, but guess what? It doesn’t work worth a crap. It kept dropping out every other minute so it was unusable. My advice? Pass on this place. It really is bad.

For Skyline Ranch Resort: To be fair, the grounds and amenities seemed nice, but we had a bad first impression. Maybe because we were staying on a Passport America discount, they sent us to sites so narrow and with inadequate hookups. We wasted an hour, but were finally settled in a much roomier and almost level site near the clubhouse. We paid $36 and change. Needless to say, we would have been irate if we paid full rates. They have a hot tub, which is semi private. One gets the key from security and is given 45-60 minutes. We weren't brave enough to try it. The room has picture windows overlooking the pool and cafe deck. There is an exercise room with a good-enough selection of equipment. There is also a small game room with table tennis, pool and air hockey, but it's hard to imagine people actually squeezing in there to play. The adult lounge upstairs is huge with two seating areas, each with a big TV. There are also a couple pianos, a small organ and an electric keyboard. Huge space with wood floors...it was warm from the sun about midmorning. The hard-to-find-in-the-dark showers are very small cubicles, about five handspans square. both men's and women's had one shower with a fold-down bench which doubled as a handrail. It took up about a half-handspan of the space. Plenty of hot water, though it had a metallic tang to it. There were bird feeders, farm animals...must be quite the place during the summer season. Verizon and antenna TV were nearly nonexistent, dish took a while, but eventually found sats through the bare tree limbs.
