For Sunset Falls Campground: We stayed at Sunset Falls at the beginning of November in a 32' motor home. As mentioned in the previous review, we did not see any place to get water but we had anticipated that as we intended to dry camp. The area is rustic and beautiful but there is not much to do unless you mushroom, kayak, hike, or drive the Forest Service roads. The weekend we were there was very wet. We had no cell service whatever, which made for the quiet getaway we were seeking that weekend. The ranger told us the place is full in the summer months. The campground was built years ago and our MH barely fit the space we chose. If you have slides, this campground is not a good choice. You might be able to use them on some spaces, but trees block them on most sites. They are very strict about collecting fees.

For Sunset Falls Campground: There is no public potable water versus what their web site says. River water. No mobile phone signal. (Last tower 5 or so miles down hill.) Lots of clear cuts. The park is a bit shabby due to budget cuts vs WA OR state camp sites.
