For Mounthaven Resort: We were camping with two other families over a very rainy weekend. We and one family were in RV sites and the third family was in a cabin. The campground was beautiful and well kept. WiFi and cell service were fine. I appreciated that I’ve and firewood were available for purchase with a debt card. We never have cash. We are already making plans for visiting again next year.

Laura
For Mounthaven Resort: Came in 35 foot 5th wheel in August 2019. Had a full hookup, with 30 amps. Having full hookups is good, it is very shady here. Location map on Allstays and Apple Maps say this park is on the north side of the road or left when coming in from Ashford. However the location is on the south side, the sign is small, and says Mounthaven Resort it is easy to miss, if you do, turn around at “the Lodge†and come back. Making reservations was easy, and we got a quick response, it is busy during the summer so we could only get a mid week reservation, you really need them if you come in the summer. Great access to Mt. Rainer NP. Camp sites are a bit packed and we were lucky the place was not full as it would be tight. I would give it five stars, but the road noise and non-functioning wifi caused a one star ding. If you can’t get into Cougar Rock Campground (all dry typical NP camping) then come here for easy access. Nice mix of cabins and RV Parking, small, and pretty. We would come again. One bar of Verizon and ATT was just enough to make it work.

For Mounthaven Resort: Small and cozy and right next door to Mt. Rainer NP. Very friendly folks running the place during the winter. Owners had just headed south for the Winter.

Rosalind
For Mounthaven Resort: Loved this place! Small park, but easy to get into. We stayed here because it was 5 miles from Mt. Rainier NP. Very quiet, met cool people and simply enjoyed being outside.

Larry
For Mounthaven Resort: Right outside the entrance to the Park. Beautiful wooded sites. Theey also have cabins for rent.
Small place with on site owners. Batthroom is clean, laundry (1 washer and dryer) also sporless.
Only complaint is our site was a bit uneven, and when it rained all night, we had a huge puddle right under our steps... not really a big issue for the beauty of the surroundings and closeness to the entrance.
Restaurants are nearby, but stock up before you gdt to Ashford. Only convenience stores there.
We would definitely return if visiting the park again.
