For Bay View State Park: Almost don’t want to leave a review as this place is such a gem! Millie the host was very welcoming. We only stayed 1 night but didn’t want to leave. Grounds are easy to pull into as we have a 33ft Class A. Very clean facilities and a short walk to the ocean/bay. We spent hours watching our dogs swim and enjoying the cool breeze in August. Town and breweries close by. Would recommend!

For Bay View State Park: This is a great state park. It's quiet. There is great privacy with bushes between many sites. The sites for RVs are generally easy to get into with gravel pads. There are Water and 30 amp Electric hookups. There is a dump station at the entrance. Bathrooms/showers are clean. The real reason to come is that the park fronts on Padilla Bay, and its an easy walk down to the beach area where sunsets are spectacular over the San Juan Islands. It's just a beautiful place to stay. It's also centrally located between Anacortes, Bellingham and Mount Vernon should you need anything. If you're not from Washington state and want a base from which to explore, this is an awesome option.

For Bay View State Park: Pros- Quite, location to fresh berry and veggie farms, cycling, location to Padilla Bay, close proximity to Laconner and Anacortes. The rv sites further from the beach around the open field are more private. There are rabbits everywhere and I mean everywhere not sure if that is a pro unless you eat rabbit. Also lots of deer. Great park and we would stay here again. Camping in a Class B camper Van.

Cons- only one shower, they cost .25 for 3 minutes which is a good deal.
