For John Waynes Waterfront Resort: We loved it because it was right across the road from Sequim Bay, a beautiful peaceful bay with walking trail, access to the water for boats, kayaks etc. The spot we were in #43 was in the back and had plenty of privacy. Spots in the middle are not so private. For the most part the sites are gravel or forest floor. Internet and cable TV were steady and reliable. The location is convenient to groceries and the charming shops and restaurants in downtown Sequim. We had a fantastic meal at Tedesco"s. Hurricane Ridge is only 20 minutes away. Anytime we come to the Olympic peninsula we would stay here. We travel in a 32' 5th wheel.

For John Waynes Waterfront Resort: Nice location...but NO INTERNET, despite their advertising they have it. We're new to RV camping. We like to post pictures to the Internet for family. RV park owners want to fluff their amenities, but go cheap, cheap on Internet connections. No connection at this park, yet premium priced!
UPDATE:After complaining, the manager did get the Internet working, but there was little-to-no hot water in the men's showers. When I mentioned it, the manager was not receptive or apologetic. Self-contained units should check out the Seven Cedars (free) just down the road.

For John Waynes Waterfront Resort: Very nice rv park. No areas for private camp fires but there is a common firepot with wood.
$$ pricey! $39.95 for water facing row and 30.95 for all others
