For Meadows Campground: Primitive but maintained campground along a rough, narrow dirt road. If you are an avid off-roader, this road is easy. If you are not used to off-roading this road will be terrifying because the road is narrow and hugs the cliff in some areas. This camp is very popular with small camper vans and tents, no RV’s! The campground is set in a very scenic area, all campsites are exposed since this is an old burn area (2015 wildfire)and there is no shade. There is a clean pit toilet, picnic benches and metal fire rings. There is no access to water, except maybe snowmelt in the early summer. Due to very low profile trees the night sky is phenomenal here! Beautiful trails all around including Pacific Crest Trail access nearby.
