Not complaining for this price.

For Maiden Rock Village Park: The park is nice with a beautiful view but the trains that come by every 9 minutes all night long blowing their horns makes sleep IMPOSSIBLE. Like a form of sleep deprivation torture to stay overnight. Paid for 2 nights and left after 1.

For Maiden Rock Village Park: The campground is nice, has large lots and there are about 6 primitive sites and roughly around 12 electric only sites. These sites are all have good views of the Lake. The site has 3 porta potties that could use some cleaning up, a large lighted pavillion. The beach has some really nice sand however watch for chunks of glass! The dock is nice for boating and fishing. The boat launch is pretty shallow till the end of the dock about knee to waist high depending on where the dock is. Overnight camping is ok there is enough drift wood around to keep a fire going all night. However the worst part is the trains run every 15-20 minutes until 5:30 am. The trains do blow horns about 4 times and it is very loud. Other then camping at night it's a great little area to spend the day fishing, or playing in the sand and water.
